Because potheads get stoned and ask this very question dozens of times a day, every day and normal folks with working brains hate it so we make sure your weed stays illegal.
THC attaches itself to the neurons in your cerebral cortex in a way that literally makes you think more. From the point of view of a government thats a very bad thing.
Freedom Fighter: Nice name hahaha. If you’re not trolling then it’s hilarious that you cant even come up with a reason but you agree with the government’s nanny statism.
Because we haven’t learned from history that prohibition of marijuana leads to riches for the drug cartels and the street gangs. That’s why the Sinaloa Cartel run by “Chapo” Guzman is using our public forests and national parks to grow pot in Wisconsin and California – because WE aren’t. And he grows it and distributes it tax free! Brilliant! And he doesn’t have to worry about bringing it across the border further helping his cause.
Because if ganja is legalized, many law enforcement groups will be downsized.
