Processed cannabis (Hashish) is .57% of Morocco’s Gross Domestic product (GDP). Approximately 10% of the country’s land is committed to growing it. A Majoun is an accustom Moroccan way of eating cannabis. The consistency varies from a date like candy to a jelly like substance. Makes 1 large pot.
Ingredients:
(1) 1 ½ tsp cleaned ground cannabis*
(for specific measurements see Edible Dosages)
(2) 1 cup of chopped dates
(3) ½ cup of chopped raisins
(4) ½ cup of ground walnuts
(5) ½ cup of ground almonds
(6) 1 tsp of ground nutmeg
(7) 1 tsp of ground anise
(8) 1 tsp ground ginger
(9) 1 Cup of honey
(10) ¼ Cup of water
(11) 2 Tbsp melted butter or ghee*

Method:
(1) In a dry pan (skillet preferred) toast the cannabis on very low heat until it starts to release a smell.
(2) Mix in the walnuts, dried fruit, almonds, spices, water and honey, let it heat threw the ingredients.
(3) Move to a heavy bowl and mash until its well blended together.
(4) Add the ghee butter last, stir it thoroughly. Once Stirred spoon into jars and put in the refrigerator to cool.
(5) Great on bread, crackers, and by its self. If you don’t use the Ghee butter you can shape the gel easier.
