I’ve heard from several people possession of hashish even if you’re a medical marijuana patient is illegal and it’s a felony! Let’s say this is true, my question is why do the dispensaries sell hash if it’s illegal? And if you can legally purchase cannabis with medical marijuana license, why are the concentrates illegal?

Yes. It is still a federal crime to possess marijuana. By the way, hash is NOT medicinal marijuana.

I plan someday to buy a home in northern California with lots of land. And just like a plantation, I’d like to use a lot of it to harvest and grow cash crops, including pot. Now, I saw recently that one Marijuana Inc. special on CBS and saw that in northern California, many people grow pot and don’t get charged for it or anything and I was wondering if it is legal? I don’t smoke pot personally, but I want to find out if I can get a license to grow cannabis to sell to medical departments; I could make hundreds of thousands, if not millions! It is not as easy but it is still pretty damn easy. Don’t say stress or anything mental because you will get turned down. Say some sort of pain and you should not have a hard time getting one.

If you tell your doctor you would much perfer marijuana, he/she will more than likely set you up with a perscription. YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH, THEY CAN’T JUST SAY “NO”

As someone who practices medicine in California, I can tell you that you need a prescription. Then you are eligible for a license, which must be renewed every year. You must be at least 21 years of age.
I will be honest, most doctors are skeptical about giving these prescriptions. They will only give them if they are 100% sure you are looking to consume marijuana for medical purposes, not recreation. Kids look very suspicious to most doctors, so you are unlikely to get one at age 21.
If you present yourself as mature and responsible, then you will most likely receive a prescription for AIDS or cancer related symptoms. Almost every alternative to marijuana will be offered for most other ailments.
It is very hard and unlikely that you will get a license. If you do receive one, please, for the love of god, do not smoke your marijuana! Eat it or vaporize it.

Know the law hasn’t been modified yet but I know ridiculously that employers can still fire employees for using medically prescribed medical marijuana. But was wondering if medical professions would suffer consequences for it? I mean after all you would think in a medical profession, doctors, nurses, dentist, etc they would allow medical use, outside of work of course. Has anybody heard anything about this?

I think they would. I see no problem with outside of work use but just like alcohol its fine outside but if you come to work under the influence then you can lose your license. This is of coarse my guessing opinion as I don’t know of this being addressed yet.

I think it’s a good idea what your doing. You just need your past 3 years record from you doctor with the problem your getting your card for and that’s it. The rest is paper work and interviews. : )
