Question by : Is it legal for me to grow medical marijuana in a house under someone elses name?
I am prescribed marijuana and live in CA. The law allows me to grow 6 mature plants, but I am wondering if the person whose house I live at would be liable, since they do not have the prescription.

You would be responsible, and the landlord (or whomever who owns the property) needs to be aware of why you are growing the plants and that your reason is due to medical issues (backed by the prescription).

Contact your state lawmakers, but im pretty sure that your landlord could be a caretaker, caregiver and allow for them to grow the plants in their property. Don’t listen to anyone saying this is illegal because they’re full of it and aren’t up to date on current laws. National Fed Laws need not apply in this situation. Your state gave you the right and that is the bottom line, the feds tyranny will not be permitted.
